+ What equipment is provided?
It is always advisable to have your own yoga mat, not just from a point of hygiene but having your own mat also helps to instil your connection to your own practice - it’s a relationship that you harness, your practice becomes sacred and your mat takes on your energy. Let your mat know you better than your best friend as it hears every whisper and every intention you set at the beginning of every practice. I do have spare sanitised mats available to borrow if you're just starting your journey.
Depending on the session plan and group size I may provide blocks, bolsters, belts, myofascial tension release balls etc., should the session require.
+ What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable clothing, loose but not baggy, or leggings/shorts if you prefer. In winter, cosy socks, a jumper and blanket are great for relaxation. Eye mask for relaxation is also quite delicious. Don't forget drinking water to stay hydrated.
+ Info for pregnant women?
I have been trainied in prenatal yoga and would be delighted to facilitate your and your unborn baby's journey together, working on breath techniques to facilitate 'getting into the zone', overcoming fears - especially useful in the third trimester and the nearing due date, using vocal toning, releiving back ache, strengthening the supportive muscles of the load bearing joints - I work with you, session-by-session, based on how you're feeling on the particular day of practice.
